The journal is published based on the principles of DOAJ, providing free, open access to all its publications to anyone anywhere in the world with internet access. This reflects the trends and demands of today's world, allowing for accelerated information exchange.

Licensing and Copyright Policy

Authors whose articles have successfully passed the peer-review process and have been accepted for publication by the editorial board grant the journal “Universum: Social Sciences” the right to publish their previously unpublished article under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, while retaining full copyright.

By consenting to publication in the journal "Universum: Social Sciences," authors agree to the transfer of information about their article, including its full-text placement, to third-party resources listed on the journal's website in the "Information about the journal" section.

Authors, in turn, have the right to distribute (including on social networks), share, and link to their article, indicating the publication's imprint.

Publication funding

The decision to publish an article is made by the editorial board solely on the basis of independent peer review. The article processing charge is invoiced only after a positive decision to accept the article and covers the costs of editorial and production preparation, technical editing and hosting of the material. The amount of the charge does not affect the peer review outcome or the decision to publish. Current rates are listed in the "Publication Terms" section.
