АННОТАЦИЯ
В статье рассматриваются малоизученные вопросы становления системы учреждений здравоохранения в российской провинции в конце ХVIII — первой половине ХIХ вв. на материалах Смоленской губернии в контексте истории повседневности. Изучается динамика развития городских больниц, численность уездных врачей, круг их компетенций, основные трудности работы уездных больниц.
ABSTRACT
The article examines the little-studied questions of formation of the system of health care institutions in the Russian province in the late XVIII — first half XIX centuries on the materials of the Smolensk province in the context of the history of everyday life. Dynamics of development of the city's hospitals, the number of district physicians, the scope of their competences, the main difficulties of the work of County hospitals are studied.
