АННОТАЦИЯ
В статье проанализирована внешнеполитическая деятельность генерал-губернаторов Оренбургского края в первой половине 80-х гг. XVIII в. Главная цель состояла в том, чтобы добиться укрепления позиций России в Казахстане и укрепить торговые связи со Средней Азией. Автор пришла к выводу, что в рассматриваемый период Россия использовала преимущественно мирные, ненасильственные методы. Усилиями генерал-губернатора была создана особая система управления степью, включавшая самого главного начальника края, пограничные экспедицию и суд, представителей казахской родовой старшины.
ABSTRACT
The article contains the analysis of the foreign policy of the governor-generals of the Orenburg region in the first half of the 80s in the XVIII century. The main objective was to achieve the strengthening of Russian positions in Kazakhstan and to strengthen trading ties with Central Asia. The author came to the conclusion that during the period Russia mostly used some peaceful "non-violent" methods. Thanks to the Governor-General there has been established a special management system of the steppe which included the most superior region governor, border expedition and court, representatives of the Kazakh tribal foreman.
