Mission
The Universum series of scientific journals has been published since 2013 and comprises seven peer-reviewed, open-access publications in the fields of technical sciences, chemistry and biology, medicine and pharmacology, economics and law, social sciences, psychology and education, philology, and art history.
The mission of Universum journals is to promote the development of science and the dissemination of reliable scientific knowledge by providing open access to the results of fundamental and applied research for the broad professional community.
Our goals:
- publication of original scientific research of theoretical and practical significance;
- ensuring independent expert evaluation of manuscripts through double-blind peer review;
- support for scientific schools, young researchers and postgraduate students;
- integration of authors from Russia, CIS countries and abroad into international scientific communication;
- compliance with international standards of publication ethics (COPE).
Universum journals are indexed in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU, Google Scholar, and international periodical directories. Research articles are assigned a DOI. Metadata is published in Russian and English.
The journals' editorial policy is based on the principles of openness, independence of expert evaluation, and academic integrity.
