Consent to the processing of personal data of the personal data subject

By filling out an application for the publication of a scientific article on the website https://7universum.com and ticking the separate box “I give my Consent to the processing of personal data”, acting freely, of their own free will and in their own interests, and also confirming their legal capacity, the User gives this consent to the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Consent) by Universum LLC, INN 5410074608, OGRN 1185476048691 (hereinafter referred to as the Operator) for the processing of their personal data on the following terms:

1. This Consent is given for the processing of personal data, both without the use of automation tools and with their use.
2. Consent is given for the processing of the following personal data that do not belong to a special category of personal data that do not belong to biometric personal data:

• last name, first name, patronymic;
• postal address, email address, telephone number;
• educational information;
• information about the academic title and degree;
• information about the place of work and the position held.
• country and city of residence;
• other information voluntarily provided by the User in the application or enquiry.

3. Information about the authors published as part of the imprint (publication details) of the article is processed on the basis of the contract (clause 5, part 1, article 6 of Law No. 152-FZ) and is not covered by this Consent. The scope of such information is defined in clause 2.9 of the Public Offer; the list of information resources through which it is made available is defined by the Personal Data Processing Policy.

4. The purposes of processing personal data: consideration of the User’s enquiry and application and preparation of a proposal on the terms of publication; sending the User notifications related to his enquiry or application; quality control of customer service; preparation of the Operator’s analytical and statistical reports.
5. During the processing of personal data, the following actions will be performed: collection, recording, storage, systematization, accumulation, clarification, use, blocking, depersonalization, destruction of personal data. Transfer of personal data to persons processing personal data on behalf of the Operator is carried out in the cases and in the manner provided for by the Personal Data Processing Policy.
6. Consent may be revoked by the subject of personal data or his representative by sending an application for revocation of consent to the processing of personal data to the e-mail address: mail@7universum.com. The processing of personal data shall be terminated within 30 days from the date of receipt of the withdrawal, unless there are other legal grounds for its continuation.
7. In the event of the withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data by the subject of personal data or his representative, Universum LLC has the right to continue processing personal data without the consent of the subject of personal data if there are grounds specified in paragraphs 2–11 of Part 1 of Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” dated July 27, 2006. The list of applicable grounds and the period of further processing shall be communicated by the Operator to the subject in the reply to the withdrawal application.
8. This Consent is valid until the purposes of processing specified in paragraph 4 are achieved or until it is withdrawn, whichever occurs first. The retention periods for personal data for each purpose are established by the Personal Data Processing Policy.
9. The procedure for the processing of personal data by the Operator, the list of persons processing personal data on its behalf, information on dissemination and cross-border transfer of personal data, as well as information on the person responsible for organising the processing, are defined by the Personal Data Processing Policy: https://7universum.com/en/policy.
